Privacy policy

Last updated:

This policy explains how HydraChats processes information when you visit hydrachats.com, use a workspace or interact with a business using our messaging tools.

1. Who to contact

HydraChats operates this service. For questions about privacy, access to your information or deletion requests, contact soporte@hydrachats.com. If you are messaging a business through HydraChats, that business also determines the purpose of its conversations and may be the appropriate first contact for your request.

2. Information we process

The information depends on the features you use and the permissions you grant. It can include:

  • Account details such as name, email, workspace membership and authentication information.
  • Messaging account identifiers, profile details supplied by a connected platform, conversations, messages, comments, images, attachments and interactions with buttons.
  • Contacts, tags, custom fields, flows, sequences and other content uploaded or configured by workspace users.
  • Integration credentials and access tokens needed to operate an authorized connection.
  • Technical information needed to run and secure the service, including logs, connection information, session cookies and interface preferences.

3. Why information is used

We use information to authenticate users, operate connected channels, deliver authorized messages, run user-configured automations, organize contacts, provide support, investigate failures and protect the service. A workspace administrator is responsible for having an appropriate basis to import contacts, connect accounts and communicate with recipients.

Where applicable, processing relies on providing the requested service, legitimate operational and security needs, legal obligations or consent. A channel connection does not authorize unrelated use of a person's information.

4. Connected services and AI

Operating an integration can involve sharing the information necessary for the requested action with its provider, such as Meta, a connected email service, Google or another platform. If a workspace enables an AI provider, the inputs configured for that feature may be sent to that provider. Provider terms and privacy policies also apply.

HydraChats does not sell personal information or use Google user data to train general-purpose AI models. Data from connected services must only be used for the authorized features and the purposes disclosed to users.

5. Access, security and international processing

Information is accessible to authorized workspace users and service providers as required to deliver and maintain the service. It may also be disclosed when legally required or necessary to address abuse or a security incident. Workspace administrators control their own users and integrations.

We use access controls, secure connections and operational safeguards. No system can guarantee absolute security. Hosting and connected providers may process information outside your country; protections and rights depend on the applicable rules and the provider involved.

6. Retention

Information is kept while needed for the workspace, a requested feature, support, security or a legal obligation. Disconnecting a channel stops future access through that connection but does not by itself erase messages previously stored in a workspace or copies held by the original platform. Backup copies may remain for operational recovery and are subject to restricted access.

For deletion of stored workspace or contact information, follow the data-deletion instructions or write to soporte@hydrachats.com. We will explain any information that needs to be retained and the reason, where applicable.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability, and withdraw consent for processing that relies on it. You can revoke connected-app permissions through the relevant provider. We may need proportionate information to verify that a request concerns your data.

Contact soporte@hydrachats.com and identify the account or page involved. Do not send passwords, access tokens or unnecessary identification documents. You may also have a right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

8. Cookies, children and updates

Session and preference technologies are described in our cookie policy. The service is intended for people authorized to manage business accounts, not as a service directed to children. Contact us if you believe a child's information has been processed improperly.

We may update this policy when the service or its processing changes. The date at the top identifies this version. We will communicate material changes where required.
